Nazca Fontes’s professional background in fertility clinic laboratories leads her to become a protégé of the industry’s premier practitioners. Dissatisfied with the current state of donor recruitment, she decides there has to be a better way.
1996
Reproductive Options of Illinois (ROI) is born and is one of the very first egg donor agencies of its time.
2000
ROI undergoes a brand refresh and becomes ConceiveAbilities®
2001
Quality control is improved by hiring licensed professionals, including an in-house fertility specialist to vet all egg donor candidates and ensure they meet the requirements.
2004
ConceiveAbilities expands west by opening a Denver office.
2007
ConceiveAbilities makes national news headlines for explosive growth.
2008
ConceiveAbilities develops a first-of-its-kind gestational surrogacy offering, complete with the most detailed surrogate screening to date. Introduces proprietary Matching Matters® process that connects surrogate mothers with intended parents.
2011
ConceiveAbilities makes its primetime debut on Giuliana and Bill as the surrogacy agency that helped them become parents.
2016
ConceiveAbilities expands with New York City and Dallas office openings.
2017
Expansion continues with offices opening in Houston, San Jose and Irvine, and surrogacy agencies in California.
